We're Hayden Pugh and Trint Saunders, and we're starting Mortise Labs in High Point. We're building free websites for our first five local businesses, then a founding rate for the next twenty, because right now honest results and testimonials matter more to us than full price.

How people find you now.

97%of consumers read reviews for local businesses.

When does it pay for itself?

Put in your own numbers. This uses the full $600 price and is math, not a promise: nobody can guarantee how many customers a website brings.

What we ask in return.

  • A short written testimonial we can put on our site, with your name and business
  • Permission to show your site as an example of our work
  • Honest feedback on what we could do better
  • Free spots only: introductions to two business owners you know who might need a site

Our site will say founding clients received a free or discounted site. Google reviews are always optional and never tied to the price; Google's rules don't allow that, and we'd rather earn them.

How it works.

  1. See your sample

We'll show you a quick draft of your site. No charge to look.

  2. Send your content

Photos, services and hours. We write the rest. Paid spots: $100 to start.

  3. Live in 10 days

Two rounds of edits, then it's on your domain.

  4. Approve, then launch

Free spots pay nothing. Paid spots pay the rest only after you approve the finished site.
